As a side note, Oliver would rather he do all the brushing and for me to do none. Yeah, sorry bud, but that isn't happening quite yet! :-)

Brush the teeth!
During bath time, Oliver gets his teeth brushed. He then shows how HE brushes his own teeth.

15 month check-up!
Oliver had his 15 month check-up today where he weighed in at an even 23 pounds. This puts him in the 28th percentile. The height I don't think was right, as last time they did it with him standing up, and this time it was with him laying down... so not a really apples to apples comparison. He is definitely taller than he was before - he's been pulling things off of the bookshelf that he could not reach a few months ago!
Poor guy had one shot today, but he took it like a champ. Love him.
I realized that I hadn't taken any photos or videos lately so I tried to get some last night. Little man was on the move every time I picked up that camera!
Oliver just being a cutie patootie...
On Sunday, Oliver and I went down for some gelato after dinner (Tim was napping). One thing that you can hang your hat on is Oliver's love for gelato - and ice cream, and frozen yogurt... just like his family! :-)

He has some molars coming in so the drool is BACK! The only difference is now he rips the bibs off so now he has more wardrobe changes than Diana Ross!

We also stopped by the spray park where he played in the water for a bit. I am sad that summer is coming to a close. I know next year, Oliver will be RUNNING through the spray park and wading pools! So much fun to be had next year!

Weekend!
This weekend, we all laid low as I am still getting over this cold, and Tim was just picking it up. On Sunday, Oliver was very sleepy all day, so this was fine by him.
Just giving an update on his walking. He seems to do a bit more of it now at home (where he is most comfortable). He's also been practicing standing up on his own without holding on to anything.

He's getting quite good, yes? He turns 15 months on Thursday! I cannot believe how time has flown by. Love this little dude so much.

Pennsylvania, part 2 of 2
Oliver loves being outside. Tim made sure to take advantage of the acres of lawn around the homestead...
Love this one of Amy and Christopher.
Oliver got to go on some rides as well. He was one tuckered out little dude by the end.
Down the road is one of Tim's numerous cousins. They own a dairy farm, so of course Oliver had to check that out.
I asked Tim what Oliver thought of the cows when they came home. He said O was a bit scared - you know, because they are big! Bippy in the mouth so he wouldn't put his dirty hands in. Yucky.
I also wanted to throw in an updated photo of baby Lexi - she is so cute, and would you look at her?? Her chubby cheeks are so nom-able.
Tim loves visiting his grandparents. Oliver loves all the toys! His grandparents have quite a few great-grandkids so they have a lot of things to play with when they come visiting.
The last bit of vacation was spent at Knoebels Amusement Park (and yes, you pronounce the K). Tim, Oliver, Amy, Christopher, and Kathy went and had a blast.

Whew! What a whirlwind vacation, buddy! So glad you are home!

Pennsylvania, part 1 of 2
Tim and Oliver got back late Thursday night, and not only brought back pictures and video, but Oliver also brought back a cold! He gave it to me and my mom so far. He is such a giving little boy. My throat is so sore this morning, but work is busy and I have no time off... so there ya go.
On the way to Pennsylvania, Oliver did pretty good on the plane. He's a busy little guy who enjoyed playing with crayons, magnadoodle, and also listening to music. Tim said he enjoyed taking the ear buds out and putting them back in like it was a game.
They had a brief layover in Chicago, where Tim was informed that his flight to Wilkes-Barre was cancelled because they didn't have a crew (this is where you say, "WTF??"). He took an alternate flight to a different airport about 2 hours away from his home in PA. Tim's brother-in-law was nice enough to make the trek to pick up T & O. Oliver took a little nap while waiting.
One of the reasons Tim and Oliver went to PA was to go to the Hobbie carnival. Hobbie is the township where Tim lived, and every year they have a carnival to raise money for the fire station. Tim's mom works the pizza stand, and Tim's sister and brother-in-law, Amy and Barney, work at the soda toss (ring toss onto soda bottles).
The little baby head at the end below belongs to Sarah, Tim's new 1st cousin once removed, or Oliver's new second cousin. And if you think Oliver looks sticky and sweaty, you would be right! East coast weather = hot and humid!

Not only was the flight cancelled, but Tim's luggage got lost. Tim doubted it would show up on the next flight to Wilkes-Barre (which would be the next day), but a phone call was received Saturday afternoon that the bag had shown up. Note to self: American Eagle are a bunch of morons!
Oliver enjoyed having breakfast with his Grandma Kathy.

To beat the heat, Tim tried Oliver out in the pool:
The water was a bit too chilly as it got really cold at night and cooled the pool down. He still looks super sweet (did you see his little feet under the floaty?).
Look forward to part two, where Oliver goes to an amusement park! Fun!

Back from hiatus
Yes friends and family, I am back from my long hiatus. Today was my first day back to work after nearly 3 weeks. I. Am. Wiped.
You would think I have so much to share of the little man, right? I am going to blame my surgery on this one. No time or energy. Tim and Oliver are currently in Pennsylvania visiting Tim's family.
During my "liquid only" phase, we went to Molly Moon's for some succulent ice cream. Oliver loves ice cream. Just like every one of his relatives!
On Saturday, Mom and I watched Chelsea while Jim and Ali had a date night. She is getting so big so quickly! So fun to watch her grow and remember when Oliver was at that stage. She can sit up on her own but so far doesn't crawl anywhere. I remember this stage fondly - I used to actually get things done during this stage! Put some toys in front and you are golden for a few minutes.

While Tim is in Pennsylvania, he wanted to show them about Skype. Oliver got to see me, which we thought would be okay but apparently he misses his momma quite a bit and the Skype session ended pretty quickly.

Tim and Oliver come home Thursday night so I hope I can update the blog with some Pennsylvania photos! :-)

BabyLegs & milestone!
Remember a while back when Oliver was in a photo shoot for BabyLegs? We got the photos that were taken, and we were ecstatic to see that not only was he in the Fall 2011 catalog, but he is also on the website! This changes periodically, but he is currently at the top of the "Collections" page, here.
Here are some that I thought were also pretty cute. I gotta print some of these for sure!
We also had quite the shock Wednesday night. Oliver took his first steps! Gah! Only got a little snippet from my phone (sorry Tim, it's on youtube), but we were all so excited. Since Wednesday he still will go only from person to person, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time before he is sprinting around.
